Questions
Is it free?
Yes. Planning, recipes, the grocery list and saved weeks are free during early access. Mealpenny Plus, with extras, is coming later. Nothing you use today will be taken away.
How are prices estimated?
From U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics average prices for your Census region, plus documented estimates for items BLS doesn't track. We price the whole packages you actually buy. Your store will differ, so we show a range.
Do I need an account?
No. Plan your week and use the grocery list without one. Create a free account with your email when you want to save weeks.
Do I need the app?
No. Everything works on the web, on your phone or laptop. The iPhone app is coming next; sign in with the same email and your weeks are there.
What do you store?
Your answers (budget, household, ZIP, foods to skip), your weeks and, if you create an account, your email. No ads and no third-party analytics. Download or delete everything from Settings.
